Questions owners ask
Who buys this data?
Established AI data companies that license business records to developers building and testing AI systems. We only introduce you to buyers that put their terms in writing.
What kind of records?
The everyday record of how your business runs: email and chat, documents, CRM, accounting, project and ticketing systems. Several years of history across several tools is what buyers value most.
Is my data anonymized?
Each buyer de-identifies data under its own agreement, and those terms are part of the written offer you review before anything is shared. Read them, ask questions, and involve your own counsel. If the terms don’t work for you, nothing moves.
What about my employees and clients?
Records involving clients, regulated information or third-party confidentiality may be excluded or need extra care. We cover this on the call, and the buyer’s agreement sets out what’s included.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. The buyer pays us a referral fee if a deal closes. It’s never deducted from what you receive.
How much is it worth?
It depends mainly on headcount, years of history and how many tools hold your records. Many qualifying companies are in the five-to-six-figure range; larger ones can be more. Any number before a buyer’s written offer is only an estimate.
How long does it take?
A form, a call, and then usually a few weeks from introduction to a written offer. Payment timing is set in the buyer’s agreement.
We’re closing or have closed. Do we still qualify?
Often, yes. If the records still exist and you have the right to license them, a closed company can qualify.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. You can stop at any point before you sign.
Are you a law firm or a broker?
No. We make introductions. We’re not a law firm, a registered broker-dealer or your advisor. Get your own legal advice before signing any agreement.
